I lost my keycode, can I recover it?
Send a message to support@frogmorecs.com with the email address you
used to order along with your company name and we will find your keycode for you.
Is there a Linux or Mac version of Print Distributor available?
Currently Print Distributor runs on Windows only, we do not have any plans for Linux or Mac versions.
What do I receive when I buy Print Distributor?
You will receive a keycode by email which unlocks the trial version turning it into the full product.
What is your refund policy?
We have a no questions asked 90 day refund policy, if you aren't satisfied for any reason send us a message
with your order number and we will refund your order.
What is your upgrade policy.
When you purchase a major version you are entitled to any minor releases free of charge, for instance if
you purchased version 4.0 then you are entitled to versions 4.1, 4.2, etc as they are released.
Major upgrades are chargeable, for example if you purchased version 4.0 and wanted to upgrade to version 5.0
then there is an upgrade fee.
Customers with current Software Assurance are entitled to all upgrades to Print Distributor.
How many computers can I install Print Distributor on?
Print Distributor is licensed per machine, so if you purchase one license you can only install it on a single machine.
What is your support policy?
Print Distributor comes with 12 months free technical support, currently we are providing free support beyond this
period however this is likely to change in the future.
Can I reprint a document to different paper trays?
Currently Print Distributor cannot change the paper tray selection made when the document is first printed.
Can I print to a text file?
Yes, you need to use the Generic Text driver which comes with Windows, we have an article on using it here.
Why is the Distiller action deprecated in Print Distributor 5.0
Unfortunately changes in the latest versions of Adobe Acrobat and Windows 7 make it impossible to call Distiller
reliably from the Print Distributor service. We are working on an alternative however in the mean time you can
either use watched folders in Distiller or call GhostScript using the Run Program action.
Can I save files to a mapped drive in Print Distributor?
Mapped drives are associated with a users profile so aren't visible to the Print Distributor service, instead you should
use a UNC path which looks like: \\servername\sharename\pathtofile
Can I run Print Distributor workstation on a server?
No, a Print Distributor workstation keycode will not work on Windows Server.
Does Print Distributor support 64 bit editions of Windows?
Yes, Print Distributor 4.1 or later supports the 64 bit editions of Windows.
Can I split large documents into smaller chunks?
No, Print Distributor passes documents through unchanged, there is no job splitting available.
